Rooms & Guesthouse

Kate and Steve, often known as the dynamic, friendly duo, took ownership of The Boundary Guest House in April 2018. Kate and Steve frequented London on a daily basis while working in the city, and decided upon a career change. They wanted to provide quality accommodation in the heart of Scarborough, using a magnificently imposing guest house which has been recently modernised to provide sumptuous comfort to all who come and stay at this family-friendly house of happiness.

Each room has quality, stress-relieving bed sheets, with a bouncy, thick mattress to cuddle you into a deep warming sleep after a day of fabulous adventure. They also have a pristine bathroom to refresh yourself after a fabulously fun-filled day, for the ultimate relaxation experience here at The Boundary Guest House.

Please note that all rooms are accessible only by stairs (no lift) and are located over four floors.

We do have a very friendly Springer Spaniel called Jack, who will probably greet you on arrival !! Please be aware of this if you have any allergies to animals prior to making a booking.

Most importantly, especially for all you cricket lovers, The Boundary Guest House is the only guest house with rooms looking out onto the Scarborough cricket ground. We also have a communal balcony enabling all guests to watch local matches at their own comfort and convenience, with a thirst-quenching alcoholic beverage from the guest lounge in hand.

The exquisite Boundary guest house is located a short walk away from the local Hollywood cinema complex, the Scarborough Bowls Centre, North Beach, Peasholm Park, and the brand spanking new Alpamare outdoor swimming complex. We are also only a 20-minute walk from Scarborough Sea Life Centre and the perfectly manicured North Cliff and South Cliff Golf Courses. For those wanting some retail therapy, Scarborough Town Centre is just a 10-minute walk away, so you can buy friends and family those surprise souvenirs. Our fantastic location also means we’re only¬†10 minute walk away from the Open Air Theatre.

There is also the added attraction of Scarborough’s Medieval castle, the site of an ancient stronghold with coastal views, expansive grounds and exciting live events. The Rotunda tower museum contains exhibits about local geology, archaeological relics and fossils. Why not visit Terror Tower, a haunted house that will scare you senseless, followed with a cheeky martini and a little flutter in the local amusement arcades or the grander casinos?
